Hi
I have created adapter, deployed it, used it, and now I need to change
it.
my problem is that I can't rebuild the adapter because I get the
following message:

"The file 'AgileSPSTransmitAdapter.pdb' cannot be copied to the run
directory. The process cannot access the file because it is being used
by another process."

I guess the computer think I'm still using the adapter

I have removed the adapter from the biztalk administration and still I
get this message .

Since I realy don't believe that everytime I need to build the adapter
I will need to restart my computer I had hoped that you can show me a
better and easier way

Help will be apreciated
thanks

You don't need to remove the adapter (at least not if you didn't change the
assembly version); all you need to do is make sure you shut down all the
biztalk hosts (either application hosts, or any other process acting as
isolated hosts) so they release the dll. Once that is done, just update the
file and restart the hosts.
Also, do notice that VS.NET can also sometimes lock the library if you're
editing a ports configuration from BizTalk explorer that uses the adapter

Stop your host, then compile/copy your files over, then re-start the
host -that is what I do with a few diffrent adapters I've built.
