Hello,
I'm about to start developing BT2004 solutions, and I have a limitation
that is related to the developing environment: I can't login to the BT2004
development server using Remote Desktop (and other stuff like that), due to
administration limitations.
I was wondering if it's possible to install only BT2004 on my Windows XP PC
and do all the development tasks 'remotely', in this scenario the development
box would have Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000 and BT2004 fully
installed.
Is it possible to do everything offered by BT2004, having a full remote
development server and a minimum BT2004 local PC installation?

Cheers,
Paulo

The reason this doesn't really work out is that you can't deploy components
to the remote GAC.

To be honest, you really want to have BT2004 installed locally to be
productive. There will be times when you want to debug into components,
etc.

Thanks Scott for your answer, but what I was really asking was if it's
possible to develop under my personal XP+BizTalk2004 box that was connected
to a Win2003+SQL2k+BT2004 development box (that can be seen as a
pre-production system) and then deploy everything on this last system?
I have to work under these circumstances because the development machine is
shared among several teams and I can't connect using Remote Desktop and
others due to permissions limitations.

I'm worried that working within this development scenario (personal PC =>
deploy and test on a test system) I can't use every possibility given by
BT2004 (BAS, BAM, HAT, etc)...

cheers
