Hi

I have managed to use the Database Lookup functoid and the extractor to
pull info from SQL Tables.

However has anybody managed to do the same with an Excel spreadsheet?

I have set up a Spreadsheet with same data as I had in a SQL Table and
created a Named range within the Spreadsheet to represent the Table.

I have even got the ConnectionString right (well I assume its right as
it does not exception on it)

I get a result XML file out but it never finds the record to extract
and hence the results file is always blank in that mapped field.

Has anyone ever tried this or does anyone know of any samples out there
that do this?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Hi mike,

the database lookup use oledb.net to connect to any database, in some
project I used this functoid to query Excel files and all works well without
problems....

I have sent you an example to your email... mike.krolling@gmail.com
