Author OutboundTransportLocation character length constraint

I'm attempting to send a message via HTTP adapter. The URL contains a
lot of querystring data and is 280 characters in length. The event log
shows an error message "The property 'OutboundTransportLocation' has a
value with length greater than 256 characters."

I can't find any documentation on this. Is there any way around this
constraint? Can BizTalk not communicate with HTTP locations if the URL
is greater than 256 characters? If so, this would be a real
show-stopper for me.

Thanks,
Chris

not exceed 256 chars, for more information visit:

Thanks, carlos. This is quite a significant limitation, isn't it?
Particularly with dynamically generated URLs with querystring data.
That can preclude the use of the HTTP adapter in many cases which is
more than a bit inconvenient. Does anyone know if this limitation will
persist in BT 2006?
