EDI Adapter with BizTalk 2006

| Hi,
I'm starting with edi adapter and unfortunately it does not work as well as
i thought.
In fact, when receiving the edi document, i have the error : "In external
format" in the EdI Reports view, and i don't know what it means.
Please help !!!!

| Check to ensure your receive locations are enabled.

| I'm using only one receive location and it's enabled.
My edifact document is picked up but not accepted.
