Hi All,

I have installed BizTalk 2006 beta 2 on my Windows XP professional pc. I
also have sql running locally. My computer currently runs like a three legged
dog.

I have a 2.8 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. By all accounts this should be
enough to run and admittedly it does, but to say it runs slowly would be
giving it too much credit. Can somebody tell me what I would need in order to
have my applications i.e. Visual Studio, BizTalk Administration etc run quick
enough to actually do some work with them please?

I have no other apps running apart from Outlook.

Cheers,
Gary

Gary,

Your problem is most certainly RAM. Your PF usage is probably thru the roof.

You need at least 1 gig of RAM, and thats a bare minimum.

Hi BA,

Thanks, I will forward your recommendations to our IT guy. In our company
developers get the same spec machines as everyone else which I find strange
when having to run SQL, BizTalk, Visual Studio etc

Cheers,
Gary
