I have encountered a problem attempting to installing BizTalk
assemblies using the Deployment Wizard.

Message Box stated following:

COM+ was unable to talk to Microsoft Distributed Transaction Controller

Event Log contains this

The run-time environment was unable to initialize for transactions
required to support transactional components. Make sure that MS-DTC is
running.

We're running BizTalk in a multi-server environment

Box 1) BizTalk server 2004 SP1 installed running Windows Server 2003
SP1

Box 2) SQL Server 2000 also running Windows Server 2003 SP1

We don't appear to have any other COM+/MSDTC issues with apps that sit
on our application dev box talking to our dev SQL box.
I've configured the security settings of the MSDTC service to allow
network access & remote clients, the logon account is set to NT
Authority\NetworkService.
Windows firewallis not beign used, so it can't be that. I'm logged in
as a user with the relevant permissions, the users/groups used in the
install are domain users that are used in our production environment
with no problems.
Also tried the RPC security registry hack with no joy.
I don't really want to go down the uninstall/reinstall MSDTC, as I
believe that to be running fine but I am at a loss in to trying to
explain this.
We have two other live environments running fine with this set-up,
although they are cleaner boxes than our dev boxes.
We've uninstall/reinstall BizTalk a few times because of this and are
still getting the same problem it's driving us nuts so I'd appreciate
all the help you can give.
