Author problem viewing send ports and receive location from Biztalk Admin

When using the Biztalk Administrator to view the configuration of the send
ports, we get the following dialog:
"Cannot retrieve list of objects due to a WMI provider failure".
"Could not retrieve transport type data for Primary Transport of Send Port
'' from config store. Both SSO Servers (...) failed. Backup server failure:
Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0002A0A.

We looked up these errors but were not able to find anything useful.

We noticed that DTC tracing was on (note: Microsoft recommends to turn this
off to avoid performance problems).
However since it was on, we dumped the trace file and found the following
entries:

pid=628 ;tid=1260 ;time=04/11/2006-15:22:47.898 ;seq=6
;eventid=TRANSACTION_BEGUN
;tx_guid=b3a94d23-b7a0-4c7b-8cfb-93536ec91e07 ;"transaction got begun,
description : 'Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.BizTalkAss'"

transaction manager went down"

;eventid=TRANSACTION_ABORTING
;tx_guid=b3a94d23-b7a0-4c7b-8cfb-93536ec91e07 ;"transaction is aborting"

;eventid=TRANSACTION_ABORTED
;tx_guid=b3a94d23-b7a0-4c7b-8cfb-93536ec91e07 ;"transaction has been
aborted"

Please help!
Note: runtime seems working fine.

Is it possible your settings for network DTC access have changed?
