| I have BizTalk 2006 Developer installed on my desktop system and it had been
working fine for several weeks. After a recent reboot, the system will no
longer start SSO. The error in the event log is:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: ENTSSO
Event Category: Enterprise Single Sign-On
Event ID: 11047
Date: 4/25/2006
Time: 4:56:07 PM
User: N/A
Computer: TPACC-MGILLELAN
Description:
Could not create SSOSQL. To fix the problem, reinstall SSO or try 'regasm
SSOSQL.dll' from a Visual Studio command prompt. Error Code: 0x80131107
I have tried registering SSOSQL.dll, but it has not helped. When I try to
start the service directly I get the same message in the event log and a
dialog that states:
Could not Start the Enterprise Single Sign-On Service service on Local
Computer.
Error 0x80131107: Type the password for the shared resource:
The logon ID is Administrator and I have verified the password. I have also
verified that Administrator is in the SSO Administrators group.
My configuration is:
Windows XP SP2
SQL Server 2005
VS 2005
Short of doing a reinstall, does anyone have any suggestions to try?
Thanks

| You might want to try performing a "repair" installation of SSO via the
\Platform\SSO\SSO.MSI file on the BizTalk CD. Right click this file and
choose the "repair" option.
