| Hi All,
I wonder is there any method to deploy the parties?
I have a lot in my EDI project. Now I want to move them to the production
server.

| BizTalk 2004 or 2006?
- in BizTalk 2006, from BizTalk MMC console you can try Righ Click
Application node and select (Export MSI, Policies, Bindings).
- I think there is something similar but less flexible in BizTalk 2004 ,
BizTalk Deployment Wizard. I think it will export the parties, but probably
it will also export the ports as well. The exported file is XML, you can
look inside to see what was exported.
Give it a try.

| Yeah,
Thanks Adrian.
BTS2004.
Hundreds times I used this Wizard and only now I know this feature is into
it.
In my case I use parties with the Covast EDI Accelerator. They are not used
with any Orchestration.
I have to use "Export Items not associated with any assembly" option.
I've scan the BTS2004 Help one more time. Not a hint how to deploy Party.
In the article 'Role and party Deployment" there is
"...A party, or organizational unit, represents an entity outside of BizTalk
Server that interacts with an orchestration. In BizTalk Server, each
organization with which you exchange messages is represented by a party. You
can define how the party interacts by enlisting it in a role.
...."
That's all.
