Greeting,

I have to Biztalk 2004 server configure in NLB. Both servers point to
another server share folder as a received location. Both server share a same
Biztalk database when there is file drop to the folder I found out that
sometime both server will pick up the file at the same time. This will cause
one of the server fail of transaction due to duplicated insert of records. Is
there any way to fix this? It is a develop issue or configuration ? Thanks

The "Planning for High Availability" article should help identify some of
the problems here and how to solve them:

Are you using the FILE adapter? Is the remote file share an NTFS share, or
something else?

Greeting,

yes we use file adapter. We read file from a NTFS share folder in other
server(internal) and transfer to external FTP system.

We also read file from external FTP system and write to internal SQL Database.

I will read the article
Thanks
