Author BizTalk Adapter for SQL Server failed

Hi

I posted this just around three weeks ago, but I haven't heard
anything. I have posted using my "Managed Newsgroups"-emailadress,
which should give me an answer within 2 business days, or what?

So, to Microsoft, here goes again:

I am using BizTalk Server 2002, and the adapter for SQL Server. Both
are installed in a Windows 2003 cluster in an active/passive mode.

Quite often, after my SQL Adapter jobs have been running just fine for
some time, they suddenly get suspended. I get a bunch of the
errormessage you can see in http://www.eliasen.dk/biztalk/rfsql.jpg
and after so many retries, the job gets suspended.

Now checking the username and password, as the eventlogentry suggests,
is hardly worth the bother, as the jobs run just fine for some time
until they suddenly get suspended.

Sometimes, I can resume the jobs, and they run fine, and other times,
I rightclick the Adapter-icon in the Adapter configuration snapin, and
select "Resume all jobs", and they all return to "Started", but they
are not running. Nothing gets read from the database, and the trace
utility shows no activity at all.

I have put a trace from the Adapter Trace Utility in
http://www.eliasen.dk/biztalk/output.zip - but it really doesn't say
much.

Hope someone can help me.

Hi Jan

You might want to check what account is used to run the Biztalk Server
interchange Application and the Biztalk Adapter for SQL server
application in Component Services, is not set to use the interactive user,
but with an account that is used to run the Biztalk Service..

If it is set to an interactive user, if no user is logged onto the box, it
might fail with that error when you run the SQL adapter.

Thanks.

Hi

You were right... the BizTalk Interchange comopnent was running as the
interactive user. That has probably solved the problem - thanks.
