I have started learning biztalk server 2002. This is a .net version.
Would like to know what is the difference between non .net version
(2000) and version 2002. What role does .net assembly play in version
2002 and y does it still support VBScripting, where as other .net
products have discontinued support for VBScript.

set aside the marketing labels for a minute.

BTS2002 has fewer bugs and is faster than BTS2000. Other than that, they
are the same. BTS2002 shares the same tools, the same architecture, and the
same code base. Neither are related, in any particular way, with the .NET
Framework, although there is a toolkit that can help you to connect .NET
code with Biztalk.

Biztalk 2002 is a COM-based system, plain and simple.

On the other hand, BTS2004 is very much a .net system.
