| The BTS2004 Adapter for MQ Series is currently in Alpha and is going to be
made available as a Web Release to customers who are using BizTalk Server
2004.
The following features are supported in this BizTalk Server 2004 Adapter for
MQSeries alpha release:
· Send messages to MQSeries Remote Definition Queues and Local
Queues from BizTalk Server.
· Receive messages from MQSeries Transmission Queues and Local
Queues to BizTalk Server.
· Support for MQMD and MQXQH header properties.
· Using XML and flat file assemblers/disassemblers.
· Writing/reading context properties from a BizTalk Server 2004
orchestration.
· Send and receive messages from local or remote MQSeries Server
running on Windows.
· Polling interval for receive locations.
· Correlation sets.
Should be in the May/June timeframe!

| The adapter is built on the BizTalk Adapter Framework..which is no different
from any of the other BizTalk Adapters so you can use custom pipelines in
your solution if required

| Will it support direct access to other than Windows MQ-series servers? The
old 2002 adapter required you to install an interim Windows MQ-server with
remote queues to the real MQ-server which is a bit of a hassle.

| Hi Niklas
Yes, there is still a requirement for a Windows based MQ Series Server in
the environment
Best Regards
