Are there any guidelines for developing orchestrations to ensure
scalability? We have a very simple orchestration that uses an
expression shape to call a method in an external assembly. When load
tested on a high-end server, we could not get the throughput we
expected. The CPU utilization graph looked like an EKG chart - big
spikes with brief periods of zero CPU utilization.

I saw a response that indicated expression shapes use thread blocking
and kill performance and scalability. Is this true? Any
info/recomendations would be appreciated.

There is a whitepaper in the making that is to be release soon...
Please check Scott Woodgate's blog for this.

Kind regards,
Christof
