However, most probably that server does not have to reside on the same box
as your BizTalk Server Host is. I believe they used DCOM to solve the
transaction issues related to "not being on the local MQ box".

I hope the beta will soon be available :-(
Does anyone knows when please? Microsoft?

Christof

We are waiting for the Beta Version of IBM MQ Adapter for Biztalk 2004. Will installing the IBM MQ client on the same machine (Win2003) with Biztalk 2004 server suffice my needs to put/get messages from a queue.

We do not have any MQ Server installation on Windows. We use host the servers on the Unix boxes.

Please advise

The answer to your question is No

You will need MQ Series Server Software for Windows. This does not
necessarily have to reside on the BizTalk box but of course you can do it.
MQ Series Client Software IS NOT Supported for the Microsoft MQ Series
Adapter for BizTalk Server 2004 as I described earlier.

If there is no possibility of installing MQ Seriers Server on a Windows box
in you envieonment, then I would recommend you talk to IWay Software

Thank you for the info.
We installed a MQ Server on a remote machine. I installed the IBM MQ adapter on the biztalk server. I am doing a small test of putting a message using a unix client onto the Queue and configure biztalk to read that message and write it to a file.

I get "class not registered exception"?

Could someone please hel p me out.
Thanks in advance.
