Pollinh long running transactions

| Hi,
We have a long running transaction for one of our third parties but we have ask them for the response by polling an IP address, is there anyway to do this in Biztalk 2004?

| Hi bob,
polling can be done using the HTTP, FTP and FILE adapter.
Kind regards,

| I'm sorry Bob, was a little too enthousiastic in replying this one.
Obvisouly the HTTP adapter does not support polling.
However you might write your own one that does support this!
Regards!

| Polling an IP? Do you mean you send him a TCP formatted message and he
responds? And you want Biztalk on which end: sending the message, or
listening for the response?
