Biztalk Server 2004 upgrading/licensing

| For project budget reasons and unkown scalability of the project, we want to begin our implementation on a 2-way single server configuration. We want to get the most optimal performance out of the server. However, we only want to license BTS 2004 for on
e processor. Is there a way to do this using an Enterprise license? Or should we start with a Standard license? If that's the case, is it relatively easy to upgrade from standarad to enterprise?
Thanks,
Jeannette

| The only way to licensing just 1 proc on a multi-proc box using Enterprise
Edition is by performing hardware partitioning on the server. If you use
Standard Edition (which gets affinitized to a single proc upon
installation), there is a licensing upgrade path if you purchase Software
Assurance (i.e., you essentially get credited for the SE license). We do
also support technical migration from SE to EE.
