Has anyone run into this error (from the App Event log) and are there any alternatives to troubleshoot besides simply "reinstalling BizTalk"?

Unable to create BizTalk component Microsoft.BizTalk.Messaging.Interop.ComponentFactory

This is a demo orchestration with a single SQL Receive port and file send port.

The rules engine works fine.

try the following.
open vs.net command prompt
cd \program files\microsoft biztalk server 2004
gacutil /if microsoft.biztalk.messaging.dll

see if the problem goes away.
