| This happened on two servers.

| SQL Server is remote to BizTalk, right? If so, make sure the MDAC versions
match on both machines. You can update MDAC on your BizTalk machine to at
least 2.7.

| The problem was related to MSDTC. Because the new server was a ghost
of another server the SID was an issue. Uninstalling MSDTC and
reinstalling it solved the problem.
