Hi,

I'm a newbie and I would like to know if it is possible to make audit on
BizTalk transaction. I guess that tha BPAM module, which will interact with
the future "Report and analysis service" of Sql Server could be the
solution. Am I right ?

I think I get confused with all these acronyms. It's not BPAM but BAM...

Hi Oriane,

It's BAM (Business Activity Monitoring). BAM provides visibility into
running business processes. The way it works is
1. you define the things you'd like to track via Excel workbook (Bam.xls)
and export it as BAM Definition Xml
2. map the definition xml to the orchestration inside TPE, and deploy the
mapping results (tracking profile)
3. call BAM Manager (a command line tool) to deploy the workbook. This
will dynamically generate all the tracking and aggregation infrastructure
for you.
4. Feed biztalk server w/ messages, the tracking data will be written and
aggregated at BAM databases

Once you have all the tracking data in your database, you can use SQL
Reporting or other tools to view the data and aggregation.
