Hi All

We are planning to deploy our orchestration which process cheques from all
UAE.

We are expecting 90,000 requests in a span of 3-4 hours.

This means 90,000 orchestrations will be instantiated with in this time. Our
server specification is Pentium 4 3.02 Ghz, 512MB of RAM.

Our orchestration is fairly complex and interacting with tibco middleware.
In our orchestration we have 3 long running transactions also.

Please tell us the best deployment strategy so that we are able to handle
such a large request.

Is the configuration of server is sufficient or we need to increase that also.

Appreciate your help in this aspect.

Aman

There is an excellent white paper regarding specific performance issues
available at the link below. I would recommend a multi-server confirguration
for any integration this large and critical. You will probably need multiple
BTS2004 servers, multiple SQL servers and perhaps even a dedicated network
segment for this volume of traffic. As always, test any scenario like this
extremely thoroughly before deployment. You may also want to contact
Microsoft directly to discuss this with their MSC team (Microsoft Consulting
Services).
