Hi All,

I could use a setup and maintenance guru:

I have a single interface running in production (very small) whose diskIO
(Physical IO) is extremely high.

Is this normal/ok?

The BizTalkDTADb (tracking database) has 4 threads when you look at SQL
server's process info screen (management >> current activity >> process
info) which show the disk io at:

5372151
5367626
5366405
5352523

The are the cumulative disk reads and writes for the process.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,
BA

After some research I've leaned that the DTA database gets a lot of traffic.

Reducing the number of items tracked in a orchestration or moving the DB to
a seperate server is really the only way to manage it.
