Author Biztalk EDI - ftp adapter & zero byte files

Hello-

Some of our customers have files on their server that usually contain
zero bytes. This just means there are no edi transactions waiting.
The file is always there though - and the ftp receive is always trying
to pull it.

So every 5 minutes I get 6 warnings/errors in my event viewer saying
there is some sort of system.exception pulling this zero byte file. Is
there anyway to eliminate this?

It is hard to be proactive and monitor the event viewer when there are
hundreds of "false" errors every day. Please tell me this isn't
another Biztalk "live with it" feature. From reading the news groups
each adapter and sometimes even each direction behaves entirely
differently.

A good suggestion is to have a "Min Size" on the ftp adapter like there
is a "max size".

Thanks-

Tammy
