Author Problems whith SSO service while configuring BizTalk 2004

Hello,

I see that this issue has been talked about earlier while configuring
BizTalk on XP after SP2... but I am on Windows Server 2003.

My configuration failes while SSO is being set up. The Enterprise Single
Sign On services fails to start and is disabled. A messagebox displays:
" An unexpected error occurred while configuring the Single Sign-On server
(The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.)."

The service is using the SSO admin credentials (domain group and account).
If I change the credentials for the service to a local administrator it
starts and the configuration of BizTalk continues. In other words, it sounds
like som authorisation problem. I have created and use the correct domain
groups and accounts.

I have tried to give my SSO system admin group admin rights in the SQL
Server. No help.

I am using a standard edition of Windows Server 2003, standard of SQL Server
2000 and Enterprise Ed. of BizTalk all running on one single server.
It works well in an other, distributed solution.

Here is a part of the configuration log:

Hi,

During use of SSO and its setup, ensure that you have a working network
interface within your configuration. For testing and development, I
recommend to set up a Looback Adapter.

Sincerely

Joerg Fischer
