BizTalk 2002 Recieve Functions

| I'm running BT2002 and discovered that for no reason whatsoever all of my
Receive functions were disabled. My question is, of course, why and my 2nd
question is how do I monitor them remotely so I know if this happens in the
future.

| Hi Rich,
BizTalk receive functions can be disabled for a number of reasons, and
usually are related to a problem accessing the resource or the configuration
in some way. The support article at
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;318941 give one
example; the docs list some others. Are you getting any related event log
entries or other simulataneous errors in your environment (BizTalk server,
management DB Sql server, or file server) when this occurs?
You can use WMI (or a management application that uses WMI - such as MOM or
Application Center) to monitor for the disabling of the receive functions.
Search the docs for "ReceiveFunctionDisabledEvent".
