| Regarding software requirements Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Readme SP1
states the following:
"You must install the following software before installing Service Pack 1:
XM GDR update. For more information, see Knowledge Base article 890673 at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=39454. "
The Knowledge Base article then states:
"Hotfix Information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended
to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to
systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive
additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this
problem, we recommend that you wait for the next .NET Framework 1.1 service
pack that contains this hotfix.
To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support
Services to obtain the hotfix."
!!!
???
It is a bit wierd that I have to contact Microsoft to obtain a software
reqiurement for BTS SP1?
So, should I go ahead and install SP1 without this hotfix, or do I need to
contact Microsoft?
