| Hi
We've recently migrated a group of machines to a new domain. Additionally,
the SQL machine has been upgraded to a Win 2003 machine, while the BT server
has remained Win2K.
I've managed to re-setup all the credentials, however, BizTalk messaging is
not working. Whenever a new item is submitted to the work queue, I get the
following error:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSDTC
Event Category: CM
Event ID: 4357
Date: 4/19/2005
Time: 1:35:34 PM
User: N/A
Computer: AZABIZ01
Description:
MS DTC is unable to communicate with MS DTC on a remote system. No common
RPC protocol is supported between the two systems. Please ensure that one or
more of the following RPC protocols are common to both systems: TCP/IP, SPX,
or NetBEUI. Error Specifics: .\iomgrclt.cpp:203, CmdLine:
C:\WINNT\System32\msdtc.exe, Pid: 916
Data:
0000: 21 00 00 00 20 00 00 00 !... ...
After that, the message remains in the work queue and has to be manually
suspended. I read that support was added to allow DTC com between a Win2K and
Win 2003 machine with SP1 for BT 2002. This was installed prior to the
migration, and has not seemed to have resolved this problem. I've also check
the MSDTC config on the Win 2003 machine and this seems correct.
Does anybody have any additional recommendations to try and solve this?
Thanks in advance...
