Commerce Server 2006 Orders Adapter
|
|
|
| I've been having good luck with BT 2006 until implementing the CS 2006 Orders
Adapter. I bind my rcv port location to the cs orders web service
successfully, but when the app runs the event log shows the following error:
PollTask threw an exception: Message: Could not load file or assembly
'Microsoft.CommerceServer.Shared, Version=6.0.1.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system
cannot find the file specified..
This assembly is on the CS machine and I can't find any issues with it. I
would gladly feel ignorant for missing something obvious.

| I'd recommend posting this to the microsoft.beta.cs_2006.general newsgroup
so the CS Team devs can assist you. The Commerce Server team wrote the new
CS2006 BizTalk Adapters.
Another thing to consider is that the CS2006 BizTalk Adapters only work with
BTS2006 Beta 2, not BTS2006 RTM and they must be installed on a server which
contains both the CS2006 beta and BTS2006 Beta 2 bits. This is a beta only
issue, for RTM you'll be able to install them on your separate BTS server
just like any other adapter.
