Biztalk to Raise events in .NET application

| Hi,
Was wondering if there is any way to raise events in a .NET application from
Biz Talk Server 2004.
What I really need to do is to notify a .NET windows application whenever a
pre-defined activity has occurred in BTS application. (The activity could
be typically be an incoming message received on a receive port).
Please throw some pointer if you have come across such a requirement.
