Author mapping not executed in SendPort

Hi,

I am trying to setup a simple mapping in a sendport, but my result file is
not getting mapped. The files are basically SAP Idoc's in XML format.
I did had to modify the target namespaces to bypass some validation errors.

The mapping validates without errors or warnings and test map also gives
correct output. However, when using a file pick up location (XML Passthru) in
combination with a Send port (writing to a file location) and setting the
correct filter and selecting the mapping. Afterwards restart the host
application and test it.
File is picked up and a new file is created in the send port location,
however, it has the same format at the original file. So the mapping does not
get executed. There is no error in the application event.log.

Any advise\recommendation\solution will be appreciated.

Thanks Ran

Hi,

THe selection of the maps are done based on the source document schema: the
message type is used to select the mapping which to use for the message.

As you currently use a Passthru pipeline, no message type is associated. As
an effect, the map is not selected for mapping.
