Re-Configure Biztalk 2004
|

Hi,
I have BizTalk 2004 SP1, SP2 installed on my Windows 2003 server. I need to
reconfigure Biztalk 2004. My question is Can I run configframework /u
without removing sp1, sp2 and later on run ConfigFramework to configure? Or
do I have to remove first SP2, SP1 unconfigure then Configure again and
install sp1, sp2?
Thanks

| Hello there,
you should be able to run ConfigFramework /u without removing SP1 and SP2.
When we were in similar situation after installing SP1 long time back, we
got the feed back from MS saying installing SP1 replaces all the SQL schema
in the installation folder as well, so you are safe to un-configure and
reconfigure BizTalk without removing service packs.
