Good morning.

What would be the best way to provide a high availability for Biztalk 2002
and 2006 in a Disaster Recovery mode , either a MS solution or 3rd-party
solution is welcomed.

Kind regards,

Luis

I guess the reason why no one bothered to reply back to this post is due to
the fact its not easy to answer this question in single newgroup post.

DR scenario will be specific to project based on various criterias like your
environment setup, your biztalk application configuration, in a high
enterprise project it will even matter how your datacentres are configured
and type of top level site selectors you use, the trading partner
applications you use and the DR status of such applications etc etc.

In one of our high profile projects we achived DR just by some unique
BizTalk port configuration, SQL replication and utilizing the capabilities of
Cisco GSS (Global site selector). The reason I'm saying this is, you don't
need 3rd solutions to achive DR.

So, long story short. DR will be dependant on the factors influencing your
project.
