I am getting the following message when I try to configure Biztalk 2004

"A member could not be added to or removed fromt he local group because the
member does not exist."

In the log file it mentions STS_WPG.

Help...Please!

At what point during configuration are you getting the error message? Is it
appearing in the Services screen or another screen?

Thanks,
-Harold

I got through the "A member could not be added to or removed from the local
group..." error but am now getting the following:

"Creation of Adapter HTTP Configuration Store Entries Failed. the account
name is not valid or does not exist."

This is happening when I go through the Configuration Wizard and it start to
perform the configuration.

Every time I get through one error there is always another one...I look at
the log file and any other clues I can find to try and correct it.

I've used everything I can find to try and help me get through the
configuration, but nowhere did it say anything about setting up accounts;
which has been most of my problems. Wrong accont names and passwords.

Sorry, you did ask me this before....the errors are coming up in the
"Configuration in Progress" screen. I get through all of the other screens
just fine. ??? Does that answer your question? I am quite the novice at
this and do appreciate all of your help.

Could you include the error section of your log file? Please remove any
sensitive data (usernames, etc.). The file is in your %temp% directory.

Thanks,
-Harold
