BizTalk and SQL on separate workgroup servers?
|

| Is that possible, or do I need to use domain users because of the windows
authentication used by the SQL server connection?
regards
Lars

| Hi Lars,
If the Biztalk servers and the SQL servers(where the biztalk databases are
located) are not in the same domain, and that there are in a different
workgroups, there would be problems connecting from the Biztalk servers to
the Biztalk databases, as in Biztalk 2002 , it uses Windows Authentication.
The account that you uses to run the messaging service needs to have
permission on the databases on the SQL servers.
Thanks.
