Hi All

We are trying to install Biztalk Server 2002 on Windows 2003 Server. The Scenario is like this...

Biztalk Server 2002 Installation is going on machine 1. The SQL Server is existing on Machine 2 which is also a domain controller. Both Machine 1 and Machine 2 are in the same domain. When trying to create the databases InterChangeBTM , the installation is
failing. It is giving a weird error saying that the user(DOMAINNAME\MACHINENAME$) cannot be logged in to the SQL Server even after specifying a correct username and password to logon to the SQL Server.

This may be because the Installer process is promoted to use Local System
account. This happens from time to time with MSI. A quick workaround is
to temporarily grant Domain\machineName$ account access to SQL and that
should allow the install to proceed. You can then setup your service
account to use with BizTalk 2002 after it is installed.

Sincerely,
