the biztalk mapper always sends documents as utf 16

why?

i need to send as uft 8. even if i omit the xml
declaration it still sends as utf 16!

You can create a custom send pipeline in your BizTalk project and drag the
XML Assembler onto the design sufrace. From there you can set a property for
the appropriate charset
