Hi,
I'm currently setting up BizTalk Server 2004 Evaluation on
a standalone Windows XP Pro, with SP1a machine, and am
getting an error.
Installation has completed successfully, but when starting
the Config Wizard, I get the following fatal error:
Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Configuration Wizard
Failed to create IConfig object for feature:
SSOServer,Engine ProgID: MSEBiz.SSOServerCfg
I've previously had BizTalk Server 2004 Beta on this
machine, but uninstalled it before installing this version.
Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this problem?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ian

When you uninstalled the previous version of Biztalk, did you uninstall
Enterprise Single Signon from Add Remove Programs? It must be uninstalled
separately from Biztalk. Check that and try again.

Hi Jack,
Thanks for the reply and suggestion - unfortunately entsso
is not in the list of programs in the add / remove
programs list. Would you know by any chance, if there is a
way to remove entsso in a different way, eg. from a
command line or whatever?
Many thanks
Ian

Not that I am aware of. Feel free to open a case wit Microsoft PSS to
troubleshoot this and try to manually remove.
