Configuration Error
|
|
|
| Hi,
When I tried to configure BizTalk 2004 on my Windows 2003
box, I got an error: "The procedure entry point
GetTextExtentPointI could not be located in the dynamic
link library MSDART.dll". I also got "Unable to connect to
the database serverXXXXX." Why I cannot use other sign-in
besides Windows integrated security? Thanks.

| What kind of credential are you using? It has to be either a domain account
or a local account recognized by your windows system. Make sure you can use
SQL client to access your sql server from the BTS machine. Otherwise, you
have connectivity issues.

| Got same error as Chris.
I've installed BizTalk on a W2K machine, using local admin account.
I'm running Configuration tool from the same account.
I've reinstalled MDAC 2.8 several times and rebooted (I suspect MDAC
is the origin of the pb).
Note : I've used the component checker to probe MDAC, and it seems
that the "official" version of my server is ... 2.7 (unexpectedly).
Any idea ? Please help. I'm new to both BTS and MDAC.
