Hello,

After installing the required prerequisites and then Biztalk Server 2004 the Windows 2000 Server desktop fails to show (including the login screen) after restart. Any ideas as to the cause and suggested ways forward is appreciated.

Note: This problem is different than KB256194 as CTRL-ALT-DEL does not even bring up the task manager.

Be more specific: you mean you don't even have the login page after restart
the machine? You cannot use the windows machine at all? In that case, I
suspect something goes wrong in installation, and you need contact WIndows
to get the machine recovered
