Registering BizTalk Server on the Business Activity Services Site failes

| When I try to register my BizTalk 2004 Server on the
Business Activity Services Site
(http://localhost/sites/BASSite/List...s/AllItems.aspx)
I get the following error:
User 'LAB\Administrator' does not have permission to perform this operation.
The Event Viewer lists the following Event:
Event Source: KwTpm
Event ID: 601
When I click TPM Admin I get the same message:
User 'LAB\Administrator' does not have permission to perform this operation.
The Event Viewer lists the following Event:
Event Source: KwTpm
Event ID: 602
Even though the administrator account is used it lacks some permissions !!
Any ideas what is going wrong ?
I am running on a standalone server (Windows 2003) and I set the
DisableBasMsmqSigning switch under the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\BizTalk
Server\3.0\TPM to 1 before I was running the Configuration Wizard.

It seems that the user LAB\Administrator is not a member of the NT group: "BizTalk BAS Administartors"
Add the user to that group, *log off* and then log on. It is critical that you log off and log on since changes
are not applied until you do it.
Thanks.

| Wonderful! Now it works!
For the information of other Newsgroup users:
I got a new error message stating that the MSMQT adapter couldn't be found,
but that I could correct myself using BizTalk Server Administration. Right
click Adapters and choose New - Adapter.
Did I really have to manually add the user LAB\Administrator to the BizTalk
BAS Administrators group or was that supposed to be done automatically
during some setup steps (which I obviously missed) ?
I am just curious if I missed some important information in the online help
(the updated help from april 1 2004).
Thanks again,
Detlef Hahn
