| I come across an issue when I try to install the biztalk 2004
development edition into my XP. The installation terminated san
saying that I need to apply .Net framework 1.1 hotfix KB831575 and
KB834280. I then looked it up in MS site but there is no hotfix
download for such items. Is there anyone out there can give me a
hand? I really want to start to start develop in biztalk and didn't
expect the installation becomes a road block. Thanks.

| Kenneth - make sure you don't have .NET Framework 1.2 (aka 2.0) installed.
Once you remove this, the prompt for install KB 834280 will go away.

| The .Net FW 1.1 sp1 is released yesterday 30/8-2004. It should be included
in that Sp1... There is a sp1 contents list at msdn.microsoft.com somewhere
(I don't remember where) as well where you can check if it is included.
Best regards
