| What is the error message? It would be helpful if you could post the
entire configuration log(in the %temp% directory) and any errors found in
eventvwr.exe.
If you're using local groups and users, they must exist on both
machines(which sounds like you already have) and the passwords must match
for the users. The membership of the groups must also be duplicated. The
logged on user(or identity if you did a 'runas') must also be a member of
the sso admin group on both machines.
Hope that helps.

When trying to configure Biztalk 2004, we keep running into this error for
the SSO user. The SSO user is part of SSO admins group which has
permissions
on the SQL Server machine and the SQL server as well.
Not sure what permissions we might be missing here. We keep adding both
the
SSO user and the SSO Admins group to both machines but it does not seem to
resolve this error.
We also get this message right before it
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password
but when we go through the config the user validates ok.
Anyone have any ideas here?
