FOR WIN2K3
If you are not in any network open the
<%SYSTEMROOT%>/system32/drivers/etc/hosts file

There will be an entry
127.0.0.1 localhost
add another one
127.0.0.1 <%MACHINENAME%>
and then try again. I am ok. Hopefully you should be too.
