| As a learning experience I plan to install BizTalk 2004 on a standalone
Windows 2003 Server test box. I'm readiing Microsoft's installation guide and
am puzzled by a few items.
1. The install guide says I need to install Visual C#. I wonder why not,
say, VB.NET, instead of C#? I get the feeliong that there must be C# source
code floating around BTS 2004 that needs to be converted to MSIL.
2. On page 16 of this guide: "Important: You must install the FrontPage
server extensions prior to installing Visual Studio.NET". On the same page,
"Installing Windows SharpPoint Services" is stated "You must uninstall
Microsoft FrontPage Web Server extensions if you have installed them.." But
I just installed them earlier. Something is in the wrong sequence here.
TIA,
Bill
