Author Cannot Install in Domain Controller
Installing W2003 on BM Infinity 4500R

2004-09-29, 3:03 am

I have installed Biztalk 2004 in my domain controller. The basic installation
is successful, but when I try to run the Configuration Wizard via
ConfigFramework, several security groups show as missing, specifically:

BizTalk BAS Administrators
BizTalk BAS Managers
BizTalk BAS Users
BizTalk BAS Web Services Group
BizTalk Base EDI Users Group
BizTalk Host Users Group

These are the only accounts which are defined:

BizTalk Administrators Group
SSO Administrator(s)
SSO Affiliate Administrator(s)
BizTalk Isolated Host Users Group
BAS Site Owner.

I surmise that the problem exists because this is a domain server, but I
have no idea how to fix it. Any help will be appreciated

For the domain global groups you have created, make sure you specify the
domainname\group or name during the config wizard.
