Active Directory requirements for BizTalk 2004

| Our intent was to run BizTalk 2004 on a single Win 2003 server with a remote
SQL Server.
The installation instructions state that Biztalk 2004 is only supported in
an active directory running in native mode.
What are the ramifications if we are using active directory in mixed mode?
What are our options for running BizTalk in our environment?
Thanks for your help,
Rick

| Rick,
If you have to use BizTalk using a remote SQL server, the supported
configuration requires domain groups to be used in a native mode AD domain.
Since mixed mode AD is not supported, you may run into problems using it. I
am not sure what the exact issues are. IF you want, i can try to find out.
Is native mode AD not an option for you?

| It turns out that the AD domain is running as Native, however the domain
includes Win2000 and Win2003 servers. This led someone to think we were in
mixed mode.
The AD guy does not think we will have any problems since Win2000 and
Win2003 support for AD is so similar.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you,
Rick
