| Biztalk 2004 internally uses SSO and you cannnot choose
not to install SSO.

Deepak is right, BizTalk uses SSO for securely storing and retrieving
configuration information, even if you may not be using SSO directly in
your application. Hence it is a mandatory prerequisite for BizTalk server
