Domain Controller
- DC Svr 1.

During configuration (configframework), hit error

I am sure MSDTC is working and I have changed the value of
TurnOffRpcSecurity in registry (MSDTC) to 1.

Pls help.

Hi Kelvin,

Please refer to the thread "Installing BizTalk 2004 in a Multiserver
Environment" (if you haven't already) as I experienced the same kind of
error message as yourself. Hope it helps. (Frustrating isn't it?!!)

Danielle,

Finally, the problem has been resolved. The problem is due to ports
blocked by (sidewinder) firewall.

Thank you.

Hi All,

I have got a question about multiserver biztalk environment.

My environment:

BizTalk App, join DC Svr 1
- BizTalk App Svr 1 (Windows 2003 SP1, BizTalk 2004, Rollup Pack 1, KB 887575 and 884532) and this server acts as the SSO master server + biztalk db server

- BizTalk App Svr 2 (Windows 2003 SP1, BizTalk 2004, Rollup Pack 1, KB 887575 and 884532)

Domain Controller
- DC Svr 1.

I configured BizTalk App Svr 1 for sso master secret server, not created biztalk host application and biztalk isolated host application option as "NO", not selected BAM or BAS

BizTalk App Svr 2 - I would like to join BizTalk App Svr 1 but when I launched configframework.exe which doesn't show "JOIN" option!!

Any thought....
