RI have installed all the prerequisities. Then I try to run the Setup.exe of
the Biztalk 2006 Beta 1. I see the welcome screen "Prepare, Install,
Reference...". I click on "Install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 on this
computer.". Then the screen disappears and nothing further happens. When I
look at processes in task manager, I can see, that after I clicked
"Install..." another instance of "Setup.exe" is created (so there are two of
them). But after some time (a couple of minutes) they both finish with no
visual interaction.

I tried to restart, I looked in event log, but nothing there.

Please help.

That's interesting. We take special measures to p[revent from two copies of
setup running... Do you see msiexec in the process manager? Could you
attach your setup log file? It will be located in your %temp% directory.
Also, there is a separate newsgroup for BTS 2006 -
microsoft.beta.biztalk.2006.
